Pool View in Cascade Wellness Resort
We stayed in a one bedroom Apt which was very well laid out. The qualities of the build and fittings were of high standard. The daily house keeping staff were very friendly and stocked up on my coffee pods which was a lovely treat each day as well. Towels were provided at the three different beautiful pools and it was quiet and restful which was exactly what we wanted as a couple. I am not sure how quiet it would have been in high season with families but am grateful for the peaceful surroundings to help us relax and rejuvenate. We did not have a car and we enjoyed our walks to Lagos for dinner (about 30 mins walk), walks to the local mini market (10 mins) for breakfast treats back at our Apt and lunch...we did self catering which was wonderful as we were able to experience Portuguese life buying their food and enjoying their hospitality and cuisine. The front desk staff were always very accommodating if we needed any information and were always aiming to make our stay as best as possible.

Cascade wellness and resort is a great place for us to stay and retreat ourself. There is hard for us to find nice hotel staffs from receptionist to house keeping staffs they are very helpful and nice. Beside that, their house bar staffs also provide incredible service by taking initiative to serve u better. Especially for me solo traveller, hard to choose what food to eat alone. But Mario, will give his concern to suggest me food that I can be able to finish alone. Food that he recommended all r so delicious. Because of Mr Mario's initiative, the business in the bar are very busy. Beside that, the reason I like cascade is, it located beside the clifftop, u can enjoy the natural beauty of the sea and there are different species of birds are around the hotel and I like that as well. If u like nature, here is the place for u.

The rooms were spacious, the bed very comfortable. The bathroom was big with separate bath and shower. There was a big window dividing the bathroom from the bedroom. The window didn't look out onto any special view, just the bedroom and a large patio, which wasn't private. So don't see the point of the window. There is a blind that closes over the window for privacy if preferred. The towels were big and fluffy. Bathrobes were very comfortable. The staff are super helpful and efficient. Even though the resort was full, with many young families, the breakfast area was cleaned continuously so wait times for a table were very short. The breakfast itself was amazing. A few buffet tables groaned with the freshest of foods and the fruits were fresh, ripe and exquisitely delicious. There was such a feeling of plenty.

The resort was located in a quiet and serene part of Lagos, with plenty of trails for trekking in the surrounding area. The rooms were clean and spacious, with all the amenities you could need. The staff were friendly and helpful, always going the extra mile to make sure you had a great stay. The breakfast and food were excellent, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The staff were incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. For example, when my husband forgot his six shirts in the room, they immediately packed them up and sent them to us overnight to Lisbon. We were so grateful for their thoughtfulness and helpfulness.

Beautiful location. Truly recommend! We soemd some awesome days overthere. If you choose to go to the pool in the spa area, there aren’t any children allowed so you can enjoy silence. Also there is a really really beautiful beach, 5 minutes walk, Praia do Canavial, which makes mornings spent at the beach and afternoons by the pool a great combination. Also the breakfast has a wide selection, with plenty healthy options.
