Cascade Wellness Resort

Service has meaningfully improved since new ownership. The position is amazing. Will be even better once the construction in the area will be settled

Rooms are clean and comfortable. We booked the apartments which were spacious, clean and comfortable, with separate kitchen and lounge area in each. The staff at the resort are brilliant. (Mario, in particular at the bar restaurant took great care of our family group). Food was delicious

The resort was located in a quiet and serene part of Lagos, with plenty of trails for trekking in the surrounding area. The rooms were clean and spacious, with all the amenities you could need. The staff were friendly and helpful, always going the extra mile to make sure you had a great stay. The breakfast and food were excellent, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The staff were incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. For example, when my husband forgot his six shirts in the room, they immediately packed them up and sent them to us overnight to Lisbon. We were so grateful for their thoughtfulness and helpfulness.

Everything you could need was supplied in the apartment. Really loved that there was fresh water and coffee topped up daily! The pool was immaculate, garden fab, plenty of parking space in the garage. The bed was huge and comfy. Lovely place, great staff. Very helpful when the air conditioner blew the electrics and gave us a temporary ac unit as they couldn’t get it fixed during our stay.

We stayed in a one bedroom Apt which was very well laid out. The qualities of the build and fittings were of high standard. The daily house keeping staff were very friendly and stocked up on my coffee pods which was a lovely treat each day as well. Towels were provided at the three different beautiful pools and it was quiet and restful which was exactly what we wanted as a couple. I am not sure how quiet it would have been in high season with families but am grateful for the peaceful surroundings to help us relax and rejuvenate. We did not have a car and we enjoyed our walks to Lagos for dinner (about 30 mins walk), walks to the local mini market (10 mins) for breakfast treats back at our Apt and lunch...we did self catering which was wonderful as we were able to experience Portuguese life buying their food and enjoying their hospitality and cuisine. The front desk staff were always very accommodating if we needed any information and were always aiming to make our stay as best as possible.
